Taxon description
Gatunek zasiedlający głównie obszary górskie w środkowej Europie, Francji, północnych Włoszech i Siedmiogrodzie, znany również z izolowanych stanowisk na obszarach nizinnych w północno-wschodniej Europie. W Polsce na ogół rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany. Poławiany na gołych zboczach górskich, pod kamieniami leżącymi na miejscach wilgotnych, na pobrzeżach lasów pod opadłym listowiem, gnijącymi grzybami, na halach pod ekskrementami zwierzęcymi, rzadziej wśród mchów.
