Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek słonawiskowy, zasiedlający pobrzeża morskie w Europie z wyjątkiem wschodniej części Bałtyku, notowany ponadto z zachodniej części Afryki Północnej oraz ze słonawiska śródlądowego w okolicy Charkowa (Ukraińska SRR). W Polsce na wybrzeżu morskim prawdopodobnie nie występuje z uwagi na niskie zasolenie wód Bałtyku. Znane dotychczas, najdalej na wschód wysunięte stanowiska, leżą w Szlezwiku-Holsztynie. W Prusach Wschodnich znaleziony tylko raz jeden w okolicy Królewca na początku bieżącego stulecia.
