Taxon description
Prószyński et Staręga 1971:
Gatunek europejsko-syberyjski. Żyje na podmokłych, zarośniętych trawą i ziołami, nieocienionych brzegach wód stojących i wolno płynących. Biega po powierzchni wody, a w niebezpieczeństwie nurkuje.
