Wzmianka o występowaniu w szklarniach w Polsce u Czyżewskiego (1937b); Czyżewski (1975) uważa, że jest to jeden z gatunków najczęściej występujących w szklarniach w Polsce. Gatunek polifagiczny; w szklarniach w Europie rozpowszechniony.
