Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1983:

Gatunek rozpowszechniony w południowej i środkowej części Europy, na północ docierający do Anglii południowej, Belgii i Holandii, ponadto wykazywany z północno-zachodniej części Afryki Północnej, Azji Mniejszej, Kaukazu i Turkiestanu. W Polsce bardzo rzadko znajdowany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w sześciu krainach południowych. Zasiedla. podgórza i niższe położenia górskie. Poławiany w rzekach i strumieniach oraz na ich pobrzeżach wśród mchów, w gnijącym drewnie i pod kamieniami.
