Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek obejmujący zasięgiem zachodnią i południową część Europy, notowany również z nielicznych izolowanych stanowisk w Europie Środkowej oraz dwu południowych prowincji Szwecji. W Polsce chrząszcz bardzo rzadko poławiany, znany tylko z trzech południowych krain. Bionomia i wymagania ekologiczne są słabo poznane. Należy przypuszczać, że rozwój larwalny przebiega prawdopodobnie w ciągu dwu lat, gdyż w Hesji z gałązek bluszczu zebranych w kwietniu wyhodowano postacie dojrzałe w maju następnego roku.
