Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986c:
Gatunek obejmujący swym zasięgiem głównie Podobszar Śródziemnomorski, docierający na północ izolowanymi stanowiskami do środkowej Francji, Szwajcarii, Brandenburgii i Polski, notowany ponadto z Azji Mniejszej i Kaukazu. Jest znany u nas z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w trzech krainach, przy czym o występowaniu w Koszalinie wątpi A. Horion (1961). Zasiedla tereny stepowe, ścianki kamieniołomów, wąwozów i parowów, gdzie rozwija się w gniazdach samotnych pszczół. Postacie dojrzałe były poławiane w czerwcu.
