Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Sporadycznie spotykany motyl lata od V do VIII. Gąsienice żerują na liściach i kwiatach bodziszka łąkowego w miejscach otwartych, nasłonecznionych (przydroża, przytorza, łąki). Według innych źródeł spotkać je można na olszynie, leszczynie, wilżynie. W hodowli daje pomyślne wyniki karmienie bodziszkiem i olszyną. Gatunek zimuje w stadium poczwarki.
