Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Szeroko rozprzestrzeniony gatunek w prawie całej Europie (z wyjątkiem północnej części Fennoskandii), północnej Afryce, na Wyspach Kanaryjskich, Azorach, Maderze, Kaukazie, w Azji Mniejszej i południowej Syberii, ponadto zawleczony do Australii. W Polsce znany dotychczas z nielicznych miejscowości. Występuje w lasach na wilgotnych miejscach pod mchem i w ściółce oraz na terenach otwartych, na łąkach i pobrzeżach wód pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
