Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony od Anglii i północnej Fennoskandii aż do południowych części środkowej Europy, notowany nadto z Syberii. W Polsce rzadko znajdowany, znany z kilku rozproszonych stanowisk w różnych częściach kraju. Występuje wśród wilgotnych mchów z rodzaju Sphagnum Ehrhardt na torfowiskach i bagnistych terenach.
