Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1986b:

Gatunek rozsiedlony od południowych prowincji Fennoskandii przez całą Europę środkową aż do górskich rejonów we Francji, północnych Włoszech, Bośni i Siedmiogrodzie, na wschód docierający do Podola. W Polsce notowany tylko z trzech krain położonych w zachodniej części kraju. Poławiany w zmurszałym drewnie drzew liściastych, przeważnie buków i dębów, pod pleśniejącą korą, w przegrzybiałych wiązkach chrustu, grubych gałęziach leżących na ziemi oraz na starych próchniejących, słupach ogrodzeniowych i płotach.
