Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
Gatunek zamieszkujący głównie południowo-wschodnią Europę, docierający do północno-wschodniej części Karpat. W Polsce chrząszcz należy do rzadkości, znany tylko z jednego stanowiska, które w ogólnym rozmieszczeniu jest wysunięte najdalej na północny zachód. Zasiedla tereny górzyste i podgórza; poławiany pod opadłym listowiem, w detrytusie oraz w przegrzybiałym drewnie.
