Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1981:
Gatunek rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej części Europy, na zachód docierający do Francji, a na południe do Bośni, Siedmiogrodu i Ukraińskiej SRR, notowany również z pojedynczych stanowisk w Danii i południowej Anglii. W Polsce znany z nielicznych rozproszonych miejscowości tylko na Śląsku Górnym częściej obserwowany. Występuje w starych, leżących pniach drzew liściastych, rzadziej iglastych, pod zmurszałą korą, w głębszych warstwach spróchniałego drewna (dociera niekiedy aż do korzeni); często w sąsiedztwie gniazd mrówek Lasius brunneus (Latr.).
