Podgatunek nominatywny rozmieszczony w Karpatach Wschodnich i Południowych, u nas występuje drugi podgatunek, niedawno opisany z Bieszczadów Zachodnich, gdzie żyje na połoninach w ściółce między kępami traw oraz w zaroślach olszy zielonej — Alnus viridis (Chaix) Lam. et Dc.
