Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek rozmieszczony w środkowej i wschodniej Europie oraz w południowej części Europy Północnej; dociera na wschód aż do Kraju Nadmorskiego; ponadto zawleczony do wschodnich stanów Ameryki Północnej. W Polsce rzadko wykazywany, znany z nielicznych stanowisk tylko w siedmiu krainach. Roślinami żywicielskimi tego gatunku są różne gatunki topól — Populus L.
