Europa: Polska, Węgry, Ukraina; prawdopodobnie cała południowo-wschodnia Europa.
Biologia bliżej nie znana, prawdopodobnie holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żeruje w niewielkich koloniach na liściach topoli białej — Populus alba L., zwykle na drzewach starszych, między sklejonymi liśćmi.
