Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1986a:
[KFP 3459: Antherophagus pallens] Gatunek rozsiedlony w północnej i środkowej części Europy oraz lokalnie w południowej Europie, gdzie sięga do Hiszpanii, Włoch i Bośni; w Fennoskandii docierający do 70° szer. geogr. W Polsce, chociaż nie znany jeszcze z niektórych krain, występuje prawdopodobnie w całym kraju. Znajdowany w gniazdach trzmieli, gdzie przypuszczalnie odbywa rozwój larwalny, poza tym spotykany w detrytusie i wśród mchów pod kosodrzewiną.
