Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Europa, Zakaukazie, Azja Środkowa.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Oligofag na agreście i porzeczkach. Żeruje na końcach pędów zbijając liście wierzchołkowe w luźne gniazda. Odwiedzany przez mrówki. U nas notowany z Ribes grossularia L., Ribes aureum Pursh, Ribes vulgare L., Ribes nigrum L. i Ribes alpinum L.
