Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1983:
Gatunek pontyjsko-pannoński, znany z Kirgizji, Krymu, Ukrainy, Węgier, Austrii i Czechosłowacji. Z uwagi na rozmieszczenie ogólne i warunki środowiskowe, w jakich jest spotykany, obydwa znane stanowiska w Polsce są wątpliwe, w związku z czym niektórzy autorzy (Horion 1958 i Stebnicka 1973, 1976) wątpią w występowanie tego gatunku w naszym kraju. Możliwe jest jednak odnalezienie go w Polsce południowo-wschodniej, np. na Roztoczu lub w okolicy Przemyśla. Zasiedla tereny nizinne i pagórkowate, gdzie poławiany jest od marca do maja w norach susłów, niekiedy również w ekskrementach kopytnych.
