Taxon description
Gatunek zamieszkujący środkową i północną część Europy, w Fennoskandii dociera aż do najdalszych krańców północnych, a w Alpach do wysokości około 2500 m n.p.m. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykany, notowany tylko u Sudetów, Beskidu Zachodniego, a ostatnio odkryty w Bieszczadach. Wymagania ekologiczne słabo poznane.
