Taxon description
Gatunek górski, szeroko rozprzestrzeniony w południowej i środkowej części Europy. Występuje głównie w strefie alpejskiej i subalpejskiej. W Polsce notowany przed przeszło 40 laty z Sudetów i Beskidu Zachodniego, a ostatnio odkryty w Bieszczadach. Znajdowany w gniazdach i chodnikach świstaków.
