Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1968:
Szeroko rozmieszczony w całej Palearktyce.
Gatunek holocykliczny i jednodomny. Żyje na liściach i czubkach pędów brzóz - Betula verrucosa Ehrh., Betula pubescens Ehrh. i jest zawsze odwiedzany przez mrówki.
