Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1985:
Gatunek mało znany, notowany poza Polską z północnych Włoch, Tyrolu i Bawarii. Jest prawdopodobnie szerzej rozmieszczony, ale zwykle nie odróżnia się go od pokrewnego gatunku C. (C.) quadripunctata (O.F. Müll.), do którego zaliczany był jako odmiana. Z Polski znany tylko z czterech krain południowych. Notowany z terenów pagórkowatych i górzystych do wysokości około 2100 m n.p.m. Poławiany od kwietnia do lipca, najczęściej w maju.
Kuśka 1995:
Opisany jako forma barwna Cantharis quadripunctata (O.F. Müller) z czarną plamą na przedpleczu i wykazany z okolic Cieszyna (Wanka 1915), z góry Turnicy k. Przemyśla (Trella, 1925, 1938), Pienin (Tenenbaum 1938), Z Tatr (Mazur 1923) oraz ogólnie ze Śląska (Polentz 1942, Horion 1953) i z Beskidów (Polentz 1942). Wszystkie okazy dowodowe ze zbiorów T. Trelli, Sz. Tenenbauma i E. i G. Mazurów należą do Cantharis quadripunctata (Müll.), nie ma jedynie możliwości zbadania okazów zebranych przez Th. v. Wankę, gdyż jego zbiór jest rozproszony po różnych muzeach. Švilha (1982) podaje ten gatunek z Prostejowa w środkowych Morawach oraz z Austrii, północnych Włoch, Szwajcarii, Francji i Kaukazu.
