Taxon description
Gatunek kosmopolityczny.
Holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z wierzb — Salix alba L. na różne rośliny baldaszkowate — Aegopodium podagraria L., Pimpinella saxifraga L., Pimpinella anisum L., Petroselinum sativum Hoffm., Heracleum L. sp., Anethum graveolens L., Levisticum officinale Koch, Archangelica officinalis Hoffm., Daucus carota L., Anthriscus silvestris (L.) Hoffm. i Myrrhis odorata (L.) Scop. Notowany jako wektor wielu chorób wirusowych.
