Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1978:

Gatunek o niedostatecznie poznanym rozmieszczeniu; poza Polską dotychczas wykazany z Bawarii, Czech, Moraw, Austrii, Słowenii i Chorwacji. W Polsce jest chrząszczem nadzwyczaj rzadko spotykanym, notowanym jedynie z dwu stanowisk, przy tym wzmianki o nich opierają się na znaleziskach sprzed około 70 albo 100 laty, dlatego też wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Ogólnikowo wzmiankowany ze Śląska, Sudetów i Karpat przez wielu autorów, ale okazy dowodowe z tych obszarów nie są nam znane. Poławiany przeważnie pod odstającą korą i opadłymi liśćmi.
