Taxon description
Gatunek europejski południowo-zachodni, notowany dotychczas z obszarów górzystych tylko we Francji, Szwajcarii, Włoszech i Hiszpanii. Zarówno w Polsce, jak i w innych krajach środkowej Europy w sposób pewny nie stwierdzony. Omyłkowo wielokrotnie przez licznych autorów wykazywany ze Śląska (Sudety, Śląsk Dolny i Górny, Beskidy), odnośne dane jednak według A. Horiona (1935, 1949) należy odnieść do Cephennium (Cephennium) majus Reitt. Również G. Polentz (1937) wyklucza obecność omawianego gatunku na Śląsku.
