Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Górski gatunek zasiedlający Karpaty Wschodnie. Wzmianka G. G. Jakobsona o występowaniu w Galicji była oparta na danych z Czarnohory. W Bieszczadach Wschodnich był znajdowany przed drugą wojną światową przez J. Makólskiego, a w polskiej części Bieszczadów Zachodnich odkryty stosunkowo niedawno. Żyje na wilgotnych miejscach, prowadząc skryty sposób życia pod luźno leżącymi kamieniami w pobliżu cieków wodnych, spotykany zarówno w strefie lasów, jak i powyżej ich górnej granicy.
