Gatunek znany z pojedynczych stanowisk na Wyspach Brytyjskich, we Francji, Włoszech, Szwajcarii, Niemczech, Danii, Szwecji, Czechosłowacji i Rumunii. Żyje na torfowiskach i bagnach oraz w ściółce olsów.
