Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Rzadko spotykany gatunek, rozmieszczony głównie w środkowej i wschodniej Europie, notowany nadto z Finlandii, Belgii, Holandii, północno-wschodniej części Francji i północnych Włoch. W Polsce znany z pojedynczych stanowisk, przy tym dane z okolic Gdańska i Raciborza oparte są na znaleziskach pochodzących sprzed około stu laty, dlatego też wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Występuje w różnego typu zbiornikach wodnych — rowach, bagienkach, moczarach, stawach, starorzeczach i odlewiskach rzek. Znajdowany zwłaszcza wśród tojeści pospolitej — Lysimachia vulgaris L.
