Taxon description
Gatunek rozmieszczony w zachodniej i środkowej Europie oraz w północnej części południowej Europy. Występuje w źródłach, strumieniach, potokach i rozlewiskach, głównie na obszarach pagórkowatych i górzystych. Zazwyczaj rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany pod kamieniami i wśród mchu.
