Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1976:
Gatunek rozsiedlony prawie w całej Europie, nie znany z północnej Europy, z Finlandii i północnej Skandynawii, wykazywany też z północnej Afryki, Kaukazu i Zakaukazia. Żyje w zbiornikach torfowiskowych, zwłaszcza sfagnowych torfiankach, spotykany czasami w stawach.
