Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1980:

Gatunek rozsiedlony od krajów śródziemnomorskich aż do Anglii, południowych prowincji Fennoskandii i Karelskiej ASRR. Zamieszkuje obszary niżowe i niższe położenia górskie, a wzdłuż dolin rzecznych dociera nieraz do strefy subalpejskiej. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk, przy tym dane z Sudetów oparte są na znaleziskach pochodzących sprzed przeszło stu laty, dlatego też wymagają one potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Spotykany głównie w lasach pod płatami mchów, opadłym listowiem, napływkami nad strumieniami, a na połach i łąkach pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi.
