Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Gatunek halobiontyczny, wykazywany z pobrzeży Morza Północnego i Bałtyku. Chrząszcz bardzo rzadko i sporadycznie spotykany, lokalnie częściej w zachodniej części Europy. W Polsce znany tylko z jednego stanowiska. Z uwagi na warunki środowiskowe, wzmianka o występowaniu w okolicy Wrocławia nie budzi zaufania. Znajdowany pod napływkami wyrzucanymi przez morze.
