Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Pospolity gatunek wczesnowiosenny, występujący od III do V. Gąsienice żerujące na wielu roślinach zielnych, jak bylica, mniszek, babka, a także drzewach liściastych jak dąb, topola, lipa, tarnina i innych, łatwo można zaobserwować od V do VII. Gatunek ten zimuje w ziemi jako poczwarka.
