Taxon description
Heintze 1990:
Dość rzadki motyl lata od III do V w środowiskach lasów liściastych. Gąsienice, żerujące za młodu gromadnie, później pojedynczo na niektórych gatunkach roślin zielnych, jak bylica, bodziszek, krwawnik, a także drzewach jak osika, wierzba, krzewach jak róża, malina, jeżyna, spotkać można od V do VII. Poczwarki zimują w ziemi.
