Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1993:
Gatunek rozprzestrzeniony od Karpat Południowych i zachodniej części Półwyspu Bałkańskiego przez południowy obszar łuku karpackiego aż po Alpy Wschodnie, północną Albanię, północny Tyrol i Bawarię. W Polsce chrząszcz mało znany, w bieżącym wieku zbierany jedynie w Beskidzie Sądeckim i Wyspowym; dane o rozmieszczeniu na Babiej Górze i w Raciborzu, oparte na znaleziskach sprzed przeszło 120 lat, wymagają potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami. Liczne ogólnikowe wzmianki o występowaniu na Śląsku są oparte tylko na wzmiance o występowaniu w okolicy Raciborza. Gatunek górski sięgający po strefę subalpejską. Występuje w dolinach rzecznych, na pobrzeżach lasu, łąkach, młakach i torfowiskach. Poławiano go na roślinach zielnych, w kępach traw, wśród mchów i pod kamieniami.
