Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1990b:
Gatunek rozsiedlony na przedgórzach i w leśnych piętrach Pirenejów, Alp, gór RFN i NRD, Sudetów i Karpat. W Polsce chrząszcz nadzwyczaj rzadki, notowany tylko z trzech krain południowych, przy czym dawne ogólnikowe wzmianki o występowaniu omawianego gatunku w Tatrach winny być potwierdzone nowymi materiałami. Postacie dojrzałe pojawiają się w maju i są poławiane do sierpnia. Jako roślina żywicielska jest podawany rokitnik zwyczajny — Hippophaë rhamnoides L., co wydaje się polegać na pomyłce, gdyż jest to roślina nie spotykana w górach.
