Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1968:

Szeroko rozmieszczony w Europie, zwłaszcza na południu.
Gatunek holocykliczny i różnodomny. Migruje z topoli białej — Populus alba L. na korzenie świerków i sosny. Na topoli powoduje podobne deformacje liści jak Asiphum varsoviense (Mordv.).
