Taxon description

Szelegiewicz 1968:

Europa: Polska, Węgry, Bułgaria; Zakaukazie, Syberia.
Gatunek holocykliczny i prawdopodobnie różnodomny. Migruje z topoli białej — Populus alba L. na nie znanego dotąd żywiciela wtórnego. Na topoli powoduje podobne zniekształcenia jak gatunek poprzedni.
