Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1973:
Znany jako gatunek o koło biegunowy z północnej części Europy, Syberii i Ameryki Północnej, a jako borealno-alpejski ze środkowej części Europy Rozmieszczenie w północnej części środkowej Europy słabo poznane — wykazany z nielicznych stanowisk w Danii, NRF (Szlezwik-Holsztyn), NRD (Meklemburgia i Brandenburgia). Z Polski notowany tylko ogólnie ze Śląska oraz trzech stanowisk położonych na Nizinie Wielkopolsko-Kujawskiej — dane te wymagają dalszych badań i potwierdzenia nowym materiałem. Z Roztocza omawiany gatunek omyłkowo wykazał Sz. Tenenbaum (1913), co sam później sprostował (1918), Gatunek wymaga dużej wilgotności, zasiedla zwłaszcza gleby gliniaste, szlamiste pobrzeża jezior, stawów i wolno płynących wód. W górach spotykany w pobliżu tających płatów śniegu, na terenie niżowym występuje liczniej w obszarze polodowcowym — na terenach falistych, morenowych z licznie rozsianymi zbiornikami wodnymi.
