Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1987:

Gatunek zasiedlający zachodnią, środkową i południowo-wschodnią część Europy. Wszędzie spotykany rzadko i sporadycznie, przeważnie pojedynczo. W Polsce jest chrząszczem mało znanym, wykazywanym tylko z Sudetów Zachodnich i na tej podstawie ogólnikowo ze Śląska. Zamieszkuje głównie tereny górskie i przedgórza. Bionomia i niższe postacie rozwojowe nie są znane. Postacie dojrzałe znajdowano wiosną na suchych gałęziach i pod korą na pniach drzew iglastych.
