Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1987:
Gatunek występujący w południowej, zachodniej i środkowej części Europy, na północ docierający do południowych prowincji Fennoskandii, notowany ponadto z Cypru i Syrii. W Europie środkowej spotykany lokalnie i rzadko. W Polsce notowany przed około 70 laty z Wrocławia na podstawie jednego okazu znajdującego się w zbiorze K. Letznera, ale A. Horion (1956) podając tę wzmiankę, jednocześnie występowanie omawianego gatunku na Śląsku opatruje znakiem zapytania. Wobec powyższego zasiedlenie Śląska, i w ogóle naszego kraju, wymaga dalszych badań. Bionomia słabo poznana. Postacie dojrzałe poławiano głównie w maju-sierpniu pod odstającą korą na gałęziach i pniach drzew liściastych, niekiedy też na roślinach rosnących pod starymi drzewami.
