Taxon description

Burakowski et al. 1979:

Gatunek zamieszkujący północną Syberię oraz całą środkową i północną Europę, sięgający ku południowi do Francji, północnych Włoch i Siedmiogrodu, notowany również z Turkiestanu i Zakaukazia. W Polsce, prócz wysokich gór, prawdopodobnie występuje na całym obszarze, ale brak jeszcze udokumentowanych danych z wielu krain. Zasiedla pobrzeża wód, tereny bagienne i torfowiska. Znajdowany przeważnie wśród mchów z rodzaju Sphagnum Ehrhardt i w kępach turzyc — Carex L.
