Taxon description
Gatunek o szerokim rozsiedleniu, zamieszkujący prawie całą Europę z wyjątkiem jej skrajnych części południowych, na wschód przez Syberię docierający do Japonii, nadto notowany z Kaukazu i Iranu. W Polsce znany z nielicznych stanowisk zarówno na terenach nizinnych jak i górzystych. Występuje na miejscach szlamistych w pobliżu wód, zwłaszcza nad bagienkami śródleśnymi. Uważany przez niektórych badaczy za gatunek torfowiskowy.
