Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1979:
Rozmieszczenie gatunku poznane niedostatecznie, notowany dotychczas z Anglii, Danii, Szlezwik-Holsztynu, okolicy Hamburga, Fennoskandii i Półwyspu Kolskiego, nadto znany z Ameryki Północnej. Ogólnikowo wykazany z Prus, w Polsce dotychczas nie stwierdzony, ale istnieje możliwość odkrycia go w północnej części kraju (Szujecki 1961).
Burakowski et al. 2000:
Gatunek północnoeuropejski; wykazywany z Anglii, Fennoskandii, Karelii, Łotwy, Danii i północnych Niemiec, w Szwecji dociera za kołem polarnym do najdalszych północnych krańców. W Polsce stwierdzony na dwu stanowiskach mazurskich na podstawie pojedynczych osobników złowionych wśród szczątków roślinnych na brzegu stawu w grądzie niskim. Żyje w środowiskach wilgotnych, głównie w strefie przybrzeżnej wód, również morskich.
