Taxon description

Prószyński et Staręga 1971:

Gatunek borealno-górski. Podgatunek nominatywny, Acantholycosa norvegica norvegica (Thorell, 1872) występuje w Laponii, na Uralu i Syberii oraz w środkowych Niemczech (góry Harz), forma tu omawiana jest prawdopodobnie endemitem sudeckim. Żyje w rumowiskach kamiennych.
