Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Gatunek rozsiedlony głównie w środkowej i południowej Europie oraz w zachodniej części północnej Afryki, wykazywany również z Wysp Brytyjskich, jednej południowej prowincji Norwegii, Kaukazu i kraju Chabarowskiego. W Polsce bardzo rzadko spotykany, znany tylko z dwu okazów złowionych w okolicy Przemyśla, nadto wykazany ogólnie ze Śląska i Beskidów. Występuje w starych, spróchniałych pniach, w gnijących grzybach, w ściółce, niekiedy w sąsiedztwie gniazd Lasius fuliginosus (Latr.).
