Taxon description
Burakowski et al. 1978:
Wiadomości o rozmieszczeniu ogólnym jak dotąd nieliczne. Poza Polską znany jeszcze z nielicznych stanowisk w Anglii, Danii i południowych prowincji Fennoskandii. Spotykany pod rozkładającymi się szczątkami roślinnymi, w gniazdach gryzoni i w murszu dziuplastych drzew w sąsiedztwie gniazd mrówek Lasius brunneus (Latr.).
