Taxon description
Szelegiewicz 1979:
Podgatunek rozmieszczony w Europie Środkowej i Wschodniej, a prawdopodobnie także na Syberii; podgatunek nominatywny występuje tylko w Japonii. Monofag, żeruje na dolnej stronie liści borówki brusznicy — Vaccinium vitis-idaea L. Ma tylko jedno pokolenie w roku i zimuje w postaci puparium.
