Taxon description
Gatunek na ogół bardzo rzadko spotykany, rozmieszczony głównie w krajach śródziemnomorskich, na północ sięgający do południowej części środkowej Europy, a na wschód do Kaukazu, Azji Mniejszej i Turkiestanu. W Polsce znany zaledwie z dwu stanowisk wymagających potwierdzenia nowymi materiałami, gdyż w bieżącym stuleciu nie był poławiany. Pojawia się od wiosny do jesieni na różnego rodzaju gnijących szczątkach roślinnych.
